Private Lessons
I am available to give lessons to anyone of any ability, young and old.
I can tailor my lesson structure to suit your style of learning.
You can come to me or i can travel to you depending on what suits you best.
I have various hammer dulcimers available to buy and to rent depending on your budget.
I am based near Frome in Somerset
My rates start at £20 per hour + traveling expenses
(£5 up to a 10 mile radius of Frome)
Shorter or longer lessons are available at your request
I also have 2 Teaching DVDs available in my webshop for those of you who live too far away for private lessons

Workshops
(Nunney First School, Somerset UK)
I am available to give Workshops in Hammered Dulcimer.
I can tailor a workshop to suit any ability and group of people
Here are some guidelines of the sort of workshops i can provide
For Nurseries
1 - 4 hour Hammer Dulcimer workshop for pre-school children aged 2–5,
(including hands on for up to 20 children)
For Primary Schools
1 - 4 hour Hammer Dulcimer Workshop for primary school children aged 6-9
(including hands on for up to 20 children)
For Secondary Schools
1 - 4 hour Hammer Dulcimer demonstration for children aged 9–13
(including hands on tutorial about note structure and Rhythm)
Other Groups
Tailor-made demonstrations to suit any group of people with any level of ability
Each workshop includes:
Introduction, history and background of the instruments.
Hands on experience (everyone learns scales, arpeggios and 1 full song)
Performance to demonstrate different styles and tonal quality’s available
Question and Answer session at the end.
